Profile:
On the death of my wife of 50 years, in December 2009, I decided to up roots and subsequently moved to Bulgaria, where I have recently celebrated my 74th birthday. I have been compiling cryptic crosswords for some period of time and did, at one time, approach the Daily Telegraph, sending them samples of my puzzles. Whilst I was not totally rejected I was told that they had many compilers on their books who had been with them for many years and they would keep me on record. Perhaps they were just being kind Whilst I could possibly become interested in supplying crosswords to magazines or newspapers I have no intention of chasing a dream.
